Is He Dead? A Pier One Youth/Teen Theatre Production
A live theatrical youth theatre production of Mark Twain's Is He Dead?, adapted by David Ives and directed by Leeza Mastre and Clara Noomah.
It's the late nineteenth century and the now-famous painter, Jean-Francios Millet, is not famous yet. After an encounter with a prospective buyer, Millet and his friends realize that an artist is only worth something after he is dead. So, they devise a ridiculous plan to escape their debtors, drive up the prices of his artwork and become rich, with hilarious results.
Shows Thurs-Sun from July 30 to August 7. Showtime is at 7:30 for every performance. Please call 235-7333 for reservations and information.
